Juan Miguel Rodríguez, Joaquín Arellano y Pedro Vela (exmiembros del grupo Ñu) formaron en 2001 Cuatro Gatos. Pronto se convirtieron en una banda representativa del panorama heavy metal progresivo español. Cuatro Gatos ha lanzado al mercado cuatro álbumes de estudio, tres LP (uno de ellos junto a un DVD) y un Maxi-single, todos ellos con la compañía discográfica Avispa Music. Actualmente se encuentran en plena promoción de su nuevo disco, ya en el mercado, "Me arriesgaré". Aunque es un semiacústico conserva toda la esencia del grupo. Engloba tanto antiguos temas de la banda como versiones de otros grupos como "Tocaba correr" de Ñu entre otros. Tambien encontramos un tema inédito que da nombre al disco: "Me arriesgaré".
